Has anyone ever heard of Fly Lady? I recently found it thanks to a great mom in our ward and even though I don't follow it to a T, it has brought some order to the Davies chaos. Emma is doing great in her JoySchool preschool we participate in that started last month and Kaitlyn is getting bigger and more opinionated. When I look back to where we were over a year ago having that sweet girl, I cannot believe how quickly ut lives have changed and how big both my girls are now. They grow up too darn fast that is for sure.
Dental School keeps Rod very busy and we are busy too trying not to miss Daddy too much and having fun!

I was looking through the photos on the camera and started laughing. My kiddos love water, the bath, the sink, the water table, the sprinklers, you name it. They are happy when they are soaking wet. The funniest part about these two pictures is you wouldn't even think that they had a pool in the backyard, but no matter they will find anything where they can get into water. We are now in OKC, and I will post new pictures of being here soon. I guess since Rod will be so busy studying late at night I can maybe do this again....don't get your hopes up though. I always have good intentions, but the computer and I just don't spend too much time together. I guess I can learn to blog from my phone.....Here is Rod's white coat ceremony too!

So I know that I am the worst about keeping up with this stuff, blogging, facebook, etc. You know it is bad when you post a comment on facebook and someone writes, "what you are on here" or you are talking about being on facebook with your sister and she says, "You went on facebook?" However, since I am getting to talk to my friends again after a really long time I am going to try to be better about this and sharing pictures with the family and friends that follow this.
Kaitlyn is pulling herself up and walking on everything. She learned to go up the stairs by herself last week and every once in awhile if the gate is down, we will hear this yelling and she is stuck and can't get down. She and Emma love each other, although they have a battle of the wills over stuff some time. Kaitlyn is hilarious because whenever she gets really excited about something she starts snorting with results in giggles from her older sister.
Here are some updated pics of us in Utah in January.

Yesterday afternoon we were blessed with a beautiful little baby girl. She wasn't sure if she wanted to come into this world head first or feet first, so she chose both. She definitely gets that indecisiveness from her dad. Because of how she was positioned, the Dr decided to perform a c-section. Everything went very well and April will be recovering in the hospital for the next few days. Kaitlyn was 6 lbs, 12 oz and 21 inches long. She is a long and skinny little girl with blue eyes, light brown hair, and two big dimples. She is a MUCH better sleeper than Emma her first night and only woke up three times her first night in this world. She has been eating very well and just loves to cuddle in your arms.
She was born three weeks early due to a condition April had this pregnancy called polyhydraminos (excess amniotic fluid). April looks great and didn't even look pregnant until she turned sideways and had this huge belly sticking out. Here are a few pictures I took and will try and post more later.
Halloween in AZ
This is the first picture I could find of us. Really it is Christmas now. Rod and I had fun planning this Halloween party. I even thought it would be a good time to make costumes ( I will think more about that next time).
Europe up till now
We spent a month this summer in Europe and it was so fun!! Then we packed up and moved from Bullhead City to Tempe, AZ. Roderick is enjoying his time finishing his Economics degree at ASU ( although finals stink). I am being a dental hygienist in Scottsdale, which is very fun! I love the people I work with and it keeps me busy. We are getting ready to head up to Utah next week for our Christmas break and can't wait. This blogging stuff is fun!
